Test Post From My Phone

Testing the blogger app on my Android powered Motorola Droid phone. I am hoping with this app to be able to post a little more often since I can easily upload photos to my blog straight from my phone.
I have included a test photo upload too.

  1. Looks like the test post from my phone works. I will have to go back for any post I do from my phone that has a photo and possibly enlarge the photo some, but as it stands I call the test a success and will hopefully be making more posts then I am now.

  3. No...not enlarging. But most important of all it will make you update a bit more. That we like!

  4. As the others have pointed out the photo won't enlarge. I agree with Lord Siwoc, if it means you can post more often then that's a good thing!

  6. I enlarged the photo to the largest possible size I can via editing the post. I an not 100% sure but it looks like any pics I upload via the blogger app on my phone won't be able to be clicked on to enlarge them. As for the out of focusness (yes I know focussness isn't a real word), it was a quick pic I snapped with my phones camera, I didn't take the time to actually set the shot up.

To fix the image not being able to be enlarged I may have to first upload the pics to my picasa account (which since its a google service is linked to my google account and blogger account, and hopefully my phone) and see if I can attach the pics to the blog from picasa via the Blogger app on my phone.

  7. I've been looking into this sort of thing too. I think I'll let you do all the hard work and then copy you! :P

Seems to work OK, and if it lets you (and me!) post more often, it has to be a good thing, hasn't it?

  8. Dave- The Blogger app for the Android phones does what its designed to do. It has a pretty straight forward interface. There are other apps from other developers that look like they do the same thing, some free some you need to pay for, but I went with the one developed by Google themselves, which is a free app.

There are some small things, such as the size of the pics when they upload to the blog, but they aren't big enough or numerous enough to of any real issue.
